A privacy-first operating system for India — built around local users’ privacy, defaults, and context. Currently in early build; domain and public details to follow.
Most operating systems are built elsewhere and adapted later. BharatOS starts from Indian users’ needs: privacy by default, sensible local defaults, and context that matches how people actually use devices here.
Problem: India doesn’t have an operating system built around its own users’ privacy, defaults, or context.
Solution: A privacy-first OS designed for India from the ground up. In early build.
Status: building. Domain and public releases will be filed here as they go live.
